Talon Project

(last update 06/03/07)

My son (Jesse) and I are working on a car for him to drive, once he gets his license. We are having a lot of fun doing it together. So here is a webpage to help you follow our project.

I know a lot of you are thinking, “why would put all this work into something he's going to wreck” well it’s my hope that he will want to take extra special care of it based on how good it looks and all the work we have put into it.

Well we are making progress. So far three shows and two trophies, it's no surprise that he didn't get anything at the first show because there were so many things not done. We still need to finish the Carbon Fiber hood, sound system and to touch up the paint in a couple places. It really gets a lot of attention especially from the younger crowd and that grill seems to be a big hit!

Getting ready to test fit the Blitz bumper and new headlights.

Jesse and I start the repair on the rear bumper. We got this for nearly nothing but as you can see it needs some major repair. I guess this means more father and son bonding....lol

A not so good picture of the left rear.

Here is a look at the interior under construction or should I say destruction!

Here is a picture looking through the back. A roll bar, subs, amps and lights will replace the emptiness.

Here is Jesse test fitting a side skirt.

This is a illustration of the hood and scoop we are currently attempting to make out of carbon fiber.
